What is A Direct Cremation?
Commonly known as a basic or unattended funeral
A direct cremation is the most basic and simple cremation and an increasingly popular, affordable alternative to a traditional funeral. This option is for people who want a no-frills funeral. Friends and family won’t be able to attend the cremation at Woodside Crematorium, but that gives you the opportunity to arrange something that more suited to you.
Direct Cremation Funeral – £895
If someone has passed away you can choose a direct cremation funeral which costs £750 from Fosters. It’s a no-frills, straight forward funeral with no service, attendees, or ceremony. What this does include is the same level of care and respect that we provide for all of our families. This low-cost alternative means that you can then remember your loved one in a more private service in your own way or time.

There is an opportunity to visit the chapel of rest for an additional fee.
Please Note: For collections out-with 20 miles of the nearest Fosters funeral home there will be a surcharge of £2.00 per mile.
